KANSAS PHARMACY PATIENTS FAIR PRACTICES ACT: Prohibits pharmacy benefits managers from requiring, or restricting actions of pharmacists and pharmacies that that would be detrimental to a covered person’s ability to make an informed decision regarding prescription and pharmacy services.Prohibits pharmacy benefit managers from restricting a pharmacy or a pharmacist from discussing the amount of the covered person’s cost share for a prescription drug or for selling a more affordable alternative to the covered person if such an alternative is available.
