This bill aims to regulate the actions relating to the distribution of drugs by 340B entities. A 340B entity refers to an entity authorized to participate in the federal 340B drug discount program which allows them to purchase certain drugs at reduced prices. The bill seeks to ensure that manufacturers or wholesale drug distributors cannot hinder a 340B entity’s acquisition of a 340B drug or its delivery to any contracted pharmacy. The bill also allows the Attorney General or any county attorney to take legal action against anyone who violates this provision. The last part of the bill declares that if any part of the bill is found to be invalid or unconstitutional, the rest of the bill will still be valid.
