modifying licensing requirements for the practice of telemedicine and surgery or podiatry; and providing exceptions. The purpose of this bill is to allow a physician-patient or podiatrist-patient relationship to be established through audio-only communication and to enable physicians and podiatrists to practice telemedicine using secure telephonic communication or similar secure real time audio-only communication.
