“HEALTHCARE DISCLOSURE AND TRANSPARENCY ACT.” Providers of health benefits plans must disclose in writing to a covered person, at the time of enrollment in the plan and upon request thereafter, the reimbursement methodology that the carrier or entity uses to determine amounts of reimbursement for out-of-network services; and establish and maintain a website to serve as an information clearinghouse for covered persons to obtain information to assist them in their health care needs.
