REQUIRES THE COMMISSIONER OF HEALTH TO ESTABLISH AND PUBLISH A LIST OF GENERIC DRUG PRODUCTS: The commissioner shall establish and publish a list of drug products matched to brand name drugs with which they have therapeutic equivalence.  The bill includes additional provisions requiring generic substitution unless the prescriber writes or electronically marks “D.A.W” for dispense as written on the prescription.
