Distinguished Fellow and Advisory Board Member Tim Greaney was quoted in the 3/24/2023 Health Payer Specialist article “Warren’s Attack on CVS Deal Non-Starter: Antitrust Specialists”:
Tim Greaney, visiting professor at the University of California Law, San Francisco, faulted the courts and more than the feds with the current state of antitrust enforcement. “The courts have shown reluctance and hostility to vertical challenges based on vertical market power,” according to Greaney. “[Regulators] are sort of in a quandary in terms of bringing cases in an area in which the judiciary is not really receptive.”
