With respect to each hospital resulting from a merger agreement for which the designated agency issued a certificate of public advantage under this chapter, and to ensure that the hospital’s activities continue to benefit the public under the standard prescribed by Section 314A.056(a)(1) and the purposes of this chapter, the designated agency may investigate the hospital’s activities and require the hospital to perform a certain action or refrain from a certain action or revoke the hospital’s certificate of public advantage.
