Provider Balance Billing Requirements. Each health provider and health facility shall comply with Division BB, Title I of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, also known as the “No Surprises Act,” including any federal regulations adopted under that act, to the extent that it imposes requirements that apply in this state but are not required under the laws of this state. This section does not require compliance with any provision of the No Surprises Act before January 1, 2022.
