Health care facilities; requiring physicians to provide certain information to patient. SB 1841 requires every laboratory testing center or imaging center to publicize its current charge description master on its website. Additionally, the State Department of Health is directed to publish on its website a database of comparative pricing for every laboratory testing center and imaging center in the state. A physician ordering any laboratory test must provide the patient with a list of 15 centers closest to the physician’s practice.
