This bill proposes to require health insurers offering health benefit plans to associations to classify each employer member of the association based on the employer’s size for purposes of determining applicable premium rates. It would also expand to large group
10 plans an existing prohibition on including brokers’ fees in the premiums for health insurance plans in the individual and small group market.
