States that the department, in consultation with the Department of Health, shall design and implement the application process for approval of participating ACOs in the demonstration project, collect data from participants, and approve a methodology proposed by Medicaid ACO applicants for the calculation of cost savings and for monitoring health outcomes and quality. Note: This statute is effective Oct. 17, 2011 and Expires three years after adoption of regulations.
