An incorporating unit may incorporate a local hospital authority under this act for the purposes of constructing, acquiring, reconstructing, remodeling, improving, adding to, enlarging, repairing, owning, and leasing hospital facilities for the use of a hospital within or without the boundaries of the incorporating unit.
