The Maryland Health Care Commission is created to assess the social, medical, and financial impacts of a proposed mandated health insurance service. Every year it will submit a report which includes an evaluation of any mandated health insurance service legislatively proposed or otherwise submitted to the Commission by a member of the General Assembly prior to July 1 of that year.
