The Commissional shall periodically participate in or do analyses and studies that relate to health care costs, the financial status of any facility, or any other appropriate matter. In consultation with the Maryland Health Care Commission, it shall annually publish each acute care hospital’s severity-adjusted average charge per case for the 15 most common inpatient diagnosis-related groups. As of 2014 it shall submit reports about the status of the state’s all payor system to the governor, SOS, and legislature, and shall make it public as well.
