There shall be a division of medical assistance within the executive office of health and human services. Such division shall be in charge of a commissioner who shall be known as the commissioner of medical assistance. The commissioner of medical assistance shall administer the provisions of chapter one hundred and eighteen E. See definition section Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 6A, § 1.
