Statute creates the Louisiana Health Care Commission which has the duties and responsibilities of reviewing and studying the availability, affordability, and delivery of quality health care in Louisiana. The commission specifically is required to examine the rising costs of health care in the state and examine implementation issues related to national health care initiatives.
