Statute gives the attorney general powers when he or she has reason to believe the provisions of this act have been violated or that any announced conduct of two or more business entities, announced by an authorized agent of one such business entity in which the combined annual gross sales of such business entities involved exceed $500,00,000, will substantially lessen competition or tend to create a monopoly.
