Ind. Code §§ 12-15-6-1 through 12-15-6-5: Medicaid — Individual Contributions – Indiana

An enrollment fee, a premium, or a similar charge may not be imposed as a condition of an individual’s eligibility for Medicaid. A Medicaid recipient is required to make a copayment upon receipt of assistance, and if the recipient does not make the payment, the copayment shall not be deducted from the reimbursement to the provider for services provided. The maximum copayment allowable shall be charged.
