Medicaid; restrict frequency of managed care organizations transferring enrollees to other organizations. An Act To Amend Section 43-13-117, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Prohibit Managed Care Organizations Under Any Managed Care Program Implemented By The Division Of Medicaid From Transferring A Beneficiary Who Is Enrolled With The Managed Care Organization To Another Managed Care Organization Or To Fee-for-service Medicaid Providers More Often Than One Time In A Period Of Twelve Months, Unless There Is A Significant Medical Reason For Making Another Transfer Within The Twelve-month Period As Determined By The Division; To Extend The Date Of The Repealer On This Section; And For Related Purposes.
