THE AFFORDABLE MEDICAID BUY-IN PROGRAM. The bill would create the Affordable Medicaid Buy-In Program and require the Department of Health and Human Resources to develop and administer the Affordable Medicaid Buy-In Plan, create the Health Care Affordability And Access Improvement Fund, establish an advisory council to the Affordable Medicaid Buy-In Program, require a study and reposts be made. The bill defines terms, sets limitations of employers, requires rule-making, and appropriates funds to the Health Care Affordability and Access Improvement Fund and the Department of Health and Human Resources.
