Insurance; health insurers; limit amount on co-pay for prescription insulin; provide for. Requires that an insurer that delivers, issues for delivery, or renews in this state a health insurance policy that provides coverage for prescription insulin shall cap the total amount that an insured is required to pay for prescription insulin at an amount not to exceed $100.00 per 30-day supply of insulin, regardless of the amount or type of insulin needed to fill the insured’s prescription.
