This bill amends Alaska law by adding a new section which waives the requirement that a provider be licensed to practice medicine, practical nursing, podiatry, or osteopathy in Alaska as long as certain conditions are met. This includes waiving the requirement for the purposes of providing treatment, diagnosis, prescribing, dispensing, or administering non-controlled substances, all via telehealth and without a prior in-person physical examination.
