Describes when it is appropriate for telehealth providers to provide telehealth services to the patient, such as when the telehealth provider is communicating real-time, has access to the patient’s medical history, conforms to standards of care, and provides the patient with his or her license number and contact information. Outlines additional activities in the scope and not in the scope of a telehealth provider’s practice.
