Requires health plans to permit a female enrollee to have direct access to a participating in-network obstetrician-gynecologist for any gynecological examination or care related to pregnancy and shall allow direct access to participating in-network obstetrician-gynecologist for primary and preventive obstetric and gynecological services. Nothing precludes access to an in-network nurse-midwife and in-network advanced practice regustered nurses for obstetrical and gynecological services within their scope of practice.
