A medical foundation organized under this chapter may consolidate or merge only with another medical foundation organized under this chapter or under chapter 594 of the general statutes, a professional corporation organized under chapter 594a, a limited liability company organized under chapter 613 or a partnership or limited liability partnership organized under chapter 614, if such corporation, company or partnership is organized to render the same specific professional services.
