The state department shall annually prepare a written hospital expenditure report detailing uncompensated hospital costs and the different categories of expenditures, by major payor group, made by hospitals in the state. The state department shall consult with the Colorado healthcare affordability and sustainability enterprise board, created pursuant to section 25.5-4-402.4(7) and referred to in this section as the “enterprise board,” in developing the hospital expenditure report.
