Status: Enacted
Year Enacted: 1957
Year Amended: 2018
File: Download

Statutes lay out the requirements for a government entity to engage in competitive bidding and list priority considerations to be taken into account when accepting a competitive bid. The statutes also exempt certain contracts from the competitive bidding statutes and the process for receiving and soliciting competitive bids. Statute prohibits collusions or agreements among bidders and prospective bidders who restrain competition. Those engaging in any bids must submit its bid with a sworn written statement that they did not engage in such illegal actions.
