Statute charges the Statewide Health Coordinating Council with reviewing Alabama’s health planning needs and writing the State Health Plan to assist the Certificate of Need Review Board. The statute charges the Certificate of Need Review Board with reviewing and approving certificate of need applications in Alabama. The reports prepared by the SHPD shall be public records.
