Statutes designate and authorize the State Board of Health to conduct health planning and development in AL, and create a plan that shall become the basic review document for the CON program. The State Health Coordinating Counsel shall serve as advisory council for the CON program. State Medical Facilities Plan shall be the basic review document for the CON program. CON Review Board is responsible for reviewing and approving CON applications in AL.
