A managed care plan shall be subject to the act of July 22, 1974 (P.L. 589, No. 205), known as the “Unfair Insurance Practices Act.” The department or the Insurance Department may maintain an action in the name of the Commonwealth for an injunction to prohibit any activity which violates the provisions of this article.
