This bill mandates the Bureau of Medical Services to seek a waiver from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services by July 1, 2024. The aim is to establish a Basic Health Plan Option under Section 1331, and/or a State Innovation Waiver under Section 1332 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
