Hospitals; requiring hospitals to compile certain list; requiring the State Department of Health to publish certain information. SB 1897 directs each hospital in the state to compile a list of 25 common outpatient procedures and to submit this list to the State Department of Health depicting the average charges for these procedures. The Department shall publish this list on its website. The measure also directs the Department to compile a list of the 25 most commonly performed inpatient procedures in hospitals in the state and the costs associated with these procedures. The Department shall publish and annually update this list on its website.
