Health information; requiring health care entities to utilize statewide health information exchange. Effective date. SB 1201 requires all licensed health care facilities in the state to report data to and utilize the statewide health information exchange. An entity is defined as a health plan that provides for or pays the cost of medical care, a health care provider that offers or renders medical or health
services, or any further individual or association defined as a covered entity.
