The department of commerce and insurance shall create an advisory committee to be known as the “Health Insurance Advisory Committee.” This committee shall be a voluntary committee comprised of representatives of the insurance industry, provider groups and the public. This committee shall meet to discuss and advise the department on issues relating to health care insurance.
