The department of insurance created by Section 36(b) of Article IV of the Missouri Constitution shall operate under the name “Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration.” Under the authority of the Omnibus State Reorganization Act of 1974 and executive order 06-04, the department shall administer and enforce the laws assigned to the department.
