Ind. Code §§ 27-8-6-0.1 through 27-8-6-6: Life, Accident, and Health — Reimbursement for Certain Medical Services – Indiana

Statutes require insurers to reimburse for any service which is in the lawful scope of practice by a provider, if the plan provides for reimbursement. The statutes do not prohibit the application of coinsurance and deductible provisions, the application of cost containment or quality assurance measures to providers and a review of the necessity of services that applies to services rendered by providers.
