Public Health – Non-Controlled Dangerous Substance Prescription Record System Program. Establishing the NCDS Prescription Record System Program under the Maryland Health Care Commission; providing the purpose of the Program is to improve patient safety and reduce health care costs by allowing a prescriber and prescriber delegate to access NCDS prescription drug history of patients; requiring the Commission to establish standards for selecting a certain prescription information system and any other means for the transmission of certain information within the Program; requiring that certain standards include certain requirements; etc.
