INS CD-COST SHARING DISCOUNTS. Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that an insurer shall apply any third-party payment, financial assistance, discount, patient voucher, or other reduction in out-of-pocket expenses made by or on behalf of an insured for prescription drugs toward the insured’s deductible, copay, cost-sharing responsibility, or out-of-pocket maximum associated with the insured’s policy. Effective January 1, 2021.
