An Act to Improve Health Care by Investing in value: There shall be a task force to make recommendations on aligned measures of health care provider quality and health system performance to ensure consistency in the use of quality measures in contracts between payers and providers. The commission shall hold public hearings to examine health care provider, provider organization and private and public health care payer costs, prices and cost trends, with particular attention to factors that contribute to cost growth.
