Insurance Claims Consumer Protection Amendment Act Of 2019: As introduced it establishes a cause of action for insured persons to be made whole when insurers fail to pay valid claims. Insurers must pay the claimant within 30 days of receipt of sufficient documentation of the claimant’s loss, where a refusal to pay is in error.
