This act enacts the “Missouri Reinsurance Plan”. For purposes of this act, the term “eligible health carrier” refers to accident and sickness insurers, nonprofit health service plan corporations, and health maintenance organizations that offer individual health plans, incur claims costs for individual health plans, and incur claims costs for an individual enrollee’s covered benefits in the applicable benefit year.
