This bill proposes to require a hospital to obtain a certificate of need from the Green Mountain Care Board prior to entering into a lease of real property in excess of certain monetary thresholds. It would also require the State’s Health Information Technology Plan to include providing individuals with the opportunity to opt out of having their health information shared with health care providers through the State’s health information exchange.
