Advanced practice registered nurses added to certain statutes. In Minnesota statutes, physicians are specifically given certain rights, duties, and protections and the authority to perform certain acts. This bill adds advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) to many of those statutes, or gives the rights, duties, and authority in statutes to health care providers which includes APRNs. In 2017 a law adding APRNs to certain statutes was enacted as Laws 2017, chapter 59.
