Every hospital as defined by section 197.020, except any hospital operated by the department of health and senior services, shall, in addition to all other fees and taxes now required or paid, pay a federal reimbursement allowance for the privilege of engaging in the business of providing inpatient health care in this state. Note: This law is set to expire September 30, 2019.
