Health insurers; notice; providers: An Act amending title 20, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona revised statutes, by adding sections 20-241 and 20-242; relating to health insurance. Requires that if a health insurer acquires a health care provider network that includes health care providers that are not contracted directly with the health insurer, the health insurer shall:
1. Notify each health care provider that is not contracted with the health insurer and that is in the network of the acquisition of the network.
2. Allow each health care provider that is not contracted with the health insurer and that is in the network to opt out of the network or contract with the health insurer.
