Hospital facilities; requiring hospital to provide certain estimate to patient. Effective date. SB 283 requires all hospitals to supply each patient with a medical good-faith estimate. The measure prescribes the content of each medical good-faith estimate to be provided to each
patient. A patient will be required to submit the medical good-faith estimate prior to any procedure or treatment.
