Health; certificate of need requirements; provisions; revise; Health Strategies Council; establish: A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 31 of the O.C.G.A., relating to health, so as to revise provisions relating to certificate of need requirements; to revise and provide for new definitions relative to health planning and development; to establish the Health Strategies Council; to amend Code Section 45-7-21 of the O.C.G.A., relating to expense allowance and travel cost reimbursement for members of certain boards and commissions, so as to provide for reimbursement for members of the Health Strategies Council; to amend Code Section 48-7-29.20 of the O.C.G.A., relating to tax credits for contributions to rural hospital organizations, so as to provide for undesignated contributions; to provide for transparency; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
