PROTECTING CONSUMERS FROM CHARGES FOR OUT OF NETWORK HEALTH SERVICES: Every carrier must include in all health care facility agreements a provision that the facility is required to provide in network options for all health care services provided at the facility, unless the facility is unable to make available in-network options, in which event the carrier must require the facility to disclose specific information on the company’s website.
