This bill prohibits health insurance issuers, pharmacy benefit managers, other third-party payers, or their agents from discriminating against entities that participate in the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program. The 340B program allows certain healthcare providers to purchase drugs at discounted prices. The bill prevents these entities from imposing any terms or conditions, such as network participation or reimbursement reductions, on 340B program participants that differ from those applied to other entities. The bill aims to protect the ability of 340B program participants to access the benefits of the discounted drug pricing.
