SB 673 modifies the definition of the term telemedicine throughout the bill to be uniform.
The measure defines telemedicine as technology-enabled health and care management and delivery systems that extend capacity and access which include synchronous mechanisms,
asynchronous mechanisms, remote patient monitoring, and other electronic means that support clinical health care, professional consultation, patient and professional health-related education, public health and health administration. Lastly, the measure provides examples of synchronous and asynchronous mechanisms used in the definition.
